SEMINAR SERIES
Hours: 16:30 - 18:00
INTERNATIONAL INVITED SPEAKER
SHORT BIO: Krishna Nayak is Dean’s Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California, where he directs the Magnetic Resonance Engineering Laboratory and the Dynamic Imaging Science Center. His work focuses on the development and clinical translation of software-based MRI technologies, including pulse sequences, sampling, reconstruction, and artifact mitigation, with current projects in mid-field MRI, real-time MRI, cardiopulmonary imaging, and precise imaging biomarkers.
TITLE: Promising Methods and Applications for 0.55T MRI
iHEALTH SPEAKER
Evelyn Cueva
SHORT BIO: Evelyn Cueva holds a Mathematical Engineering degree from Escuela Politécnica Nacional (Ecuador), a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Universidad San Francisco de Quito and a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Universidad de Chile. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at iHEALTH. Her research focuses on inverse problems, mathematical modeling, and model-based learning for biomedical image reconstruction, particularly in CT and MRI, integrating physical models with deep neural networks to improve image quality and accelerate reconstruction.
TITLE: Super-resolution Multi-Slice Time-Dependent Deep Image Prior for Cardiac Cine MRI at 0.55T
