Seminar December 16TH, 2025

Date: 16 of December 2025
Hours: 16:30 - 18:00
Organizer: iHEALTH

INTERNATIONAL INVITED SPEAKER
Ricardo Otazo, PhD

SHORT BIO: Dr. Otazo received his PhD in Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2007. He was a faculty member in the Department of Radiology at NYU (2010-2018) before joining Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2018, where he directs the MRI Physics group. His research focuses on rapid, motion-tolerant, and quantitative MRI methods for cancer care, including pioneering work in compressed sensing, auto-navigated acquisitions, AI-enabled MRI acceleration, and MRI-guided radiotherapy on MR-Linac systems.

TITLE: Real-time 3D MR Signature Matching (MRSIGMA) for adaptive radiotherapy of mobile tumors on an MR-Linac

iHEALTH SPEAKER
Tomás Banduc

SHORT BIO: Tomas is an engineer from the University of Chile and currently a Research Engineer at iHEALTH. His work focuses on the integration of physics-based modeling and machine learning for medical imaging applications, with particular interest in cardiac motion analysis.

TITLE: Estimating Cardiac Motion in Patients with Myocardial Infarction from Cine MRI Using Physics-Informed Neural Networks
