2nd iHEALTH Winter School on Artificial Intelligence Applied to Health

The Millennium Institute for Engineering and Artificial Intelligence in Health (iHEALTH) opens the call to participate in the 2nd Winter School on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Applied to Health, to be held on July 21 and 22, 2026, at Campus San Joaquín, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, located at Av. Vicuña Mackenna 4860, Macul, Metropolitan Region.

The Winter School is an in-person training activity aimed primarily at undergraduate and graduate students in fields related to engineering, sciences, health, and related areas. The program seeks to provide an applied introduction to AI in health, combining conceptual lectures, hands-on workshops, and use cases in medical imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, natural language processing, and the responsible use of AI.

Summary program:

• Day 1: Foundations of AI and Deep Learning for medical imaging.
• Day 2: Advanced applications, natural language processing, and responsible use of AI in health.

Includes hands-on workshops on CNN design and training, image segmentation, as well as a visit to iHEALTH's MRI scanner.
